Leading a team within the visual merchandising department and working closely with the beauty and events team, I have been part of numerous events and projects from designing rally stickers for a Mini Cooper, to H Beauty launch, and private events.
Most notably I lead the team that designed and implemented the business’ Covid-19 and social distancing strategy, launched several H Beauty stores, designed for exclusive luxury events and sculptures for international residencies.

H Beauty

Working closely with the beauty and events team, I was one of the first members onto the team that launched Harrods’ first beauty focussed store. I helped to create 3D renders of the space and how assets would fit within the space.

My main role was to build assets and identities  for each new store, and to help to plan and design for launch events. Occasionally I was needed on-site during the build process, to advise on the placement of graphics and instal.

Projects & Collaborations

Palace x Harrods

This skate brand collaborated with Harrods to create a range of products. This included a large boutique in menswear.

Mini Cooper

With a tight deadline I was briefed to create the rally brands for a Mini Cooper for an ‘Italian Job’ feature. I used local landmarks and Harrods facts to create fictional 1960’s rally brands. It was received brilliantly.

International

Shanghai Team rooms

As Harrods caters to an international audience it is essential that work is clearly understood by a range of people from different cultures and continents. This often meant working on projects that would be produced and implemented abroad. Shown here is a sculptural piece produced for the Shanghai Team Rooms. For this project I created a piece that took inspiration from classic Chinese window shutters  and communicated with suppliers in China to get the sign produced to the high standard we expect for Harrods.

Social Distancing

One of the most rewarding project was, directing and designing the social distancing guidelines, collateral and strategy for the store, and its outreaches. This taught me the difficulties of working for a varied international audience. Creating graphics that would be understood by different cultures. It was rewarding to see international patrons understanding and following my work, and seeing the work featured in the Evening Standard.
